Shop Terms

These policies apply exclusively to purchases made through the Papier June online shop. Bespoke commissions and other design services are governed by their respective client agreements.

Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full at checkout.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase, including the product, quantity, size and shipping address.

Made-to-Order Products

Lace envelope liners are handmade to order in the Papier June studio. Please allow up to 3 weeks for production before shipping. Production times are estimates and do not include shipping or transit time.

Because each piece is made by hand, slight variations in the lace, paper, placement and finish may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not considered defects.

Sizing & Compatibility

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate liner size for their envelopes.

Liners are designed for Euro-flap envelopes in the corresponding size. Envelope dimensions and flap shapes can vary between manufacturers, and compatibility with every envelope cannot be guaranteed.

If you are unsure about sizing or compatibility, I strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order.

Papier June is not responsible for incorrect sizing when the size ordered matches the customer's selection.

Installation

Lace envelope liners are supplied separately from envelopes and require installation by the customer. Envelopes and adhesive are not included unless explicitly stated in the product description.

Installation instructions are included with full orders.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because full sets are made to order, please contact Papier June as soon as possible if you need to request a change or cancellation.

Once production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Shipping

Shipping rates and available delivery methods are calculated at checkout based on the destination and order.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information when available.

Delivery dates provided by shipping carriers are estimates and are outside Papier June's direct control. Papier June is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays or other delivery disruptions outside its reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product or shipping price unless expressly stated at checkout.

Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, artwork, text and other original content appearing on the Papier June website and products remain the intellectual property of Papier June Inc. and may not be reproduced, copied, distributed or used commercially without written permission.

Governing Law

These Shop Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Nothing in these Shop Terms limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

Returns & Refunds

I would be particularly careful with the wording here. Rather than trying to say “ALL SALES FINAL” in huge letters, this makes your made-to-order policy clear while preserving rights customers may have under applicable consumer law. Ontario consumer rights can't simply be waived by contract.

Made-to-Order Products

Full sets of lace envelope liners are handmade specifically for each order. For this reason, returns and exchanges for change of mind are not accepted once production has begun.

Please review your selected size and quantity carefully before placing your order. If you are unsure whether a liner will fit your envelope, I recommend ordering a sample first.

Samples

Samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an item different from what you ordered, please contact Papier June within 3 days of delivery at hello@papierjune.com

Please include your order number and photographs clearly showing the issue and packaging so I can assess the order and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair or refund.

Handmade Variation

Small variations in lace, paper, placement and finish are inherent to handmade production and are not considered defects.

Shipping

Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where the return results from an error by Papier June.

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
