You're in good hands.
Everything I make is decided in service of one thing: making something that could only ever have been made for you.
A Papier June commission begins with a conversation, not about what you want your invitations to look like, but about how you see the world, what moves you, what you'd never want near your wedding.
From that I develop a creative direction. I choose the materials. I direct every design decision until the suite is exactly what it should be.
You bring your vision. I bring my expertise.
The Paper
Every sheet starts in my studio. I form each sheet slowly from cotton fibre, water and natural pigments, then leave it to dry. The colour is intentional. The texture is what handmade paper does on its own, and that's the part you can't replicate.
The Process.
1— The conversation
Every commission starts with a conversation. I'm genuinely curious about who you are, the details, the feelings, the things you can't quite put into words yet. Getting to know a new couple is one of the parts of this work I find most stimulating. The more I understand, the better the work.
3— The making
Once the design is approved, the work shifts into a different kind of focus. Every element, paper, embellishments, print, has to be coordinated and checked. There are a lot of moving parts and none of them can be wrong. It's only when everything is in front of me and it's exactly right that I can breathe.
2— The design
Once we begin, the concept never really leaves me. I think about it on walks, in quiet moments, when I'm doing something else entirely. That's just how it works for me, and by the time I sit down to design, I already know where I'm going. We refine until it's locked.
4— The delivery
Each suite is packed and shipped directly to you. You'll receive a tracking number by email once it's on its way. The moment your guests open their mailboxes is the first impression they will have about your wedding. From booking to delivery, bespoke invitations typically takes 3 to 4 months.
‘‘Papier June brings you along for every part of the process from initial mood boards to designs to watching the handmade paper making process. It gives you such an appreciation for all the hard work and attention to detail brought to each project.’’

Investment
The design fee
Foundation of every project. It covers the creative direction, the concept development, the digital mockups and every design decision from first conversation to final approval.
The production costs
Quoted as a range and confirmed upon design approval, once all specifications are finalized. The total amount depends on design decisions made during the creative process such as print technique, complexity, quantity. All pricing is transparent before anything is made.
Bespoke invitation suites start at $8,500 CAD
This includes the invitation card, details card, RSVP card, standard envelope with guest addressing, wax seal, letterpress and embossing for up to 75 households, delivered to your door.
Additional Pieces
Every piece is designed within the same creative direction as your invitation suite, one aesthetic, start to finish.
Save-the-dates
Designed and delivered first, before your invitation commission begins. Ideally ordered well in advance, save-the-dates are typically sent to guests 8 to 12 months before the wedding.
Printed day-of papers
Menus, programs, welcome notes and vows are printed on the same paper as your suite for cohesiveness. Designed after your invitation suite is complete and produced closer to your wedding date.
Digital files
Seating chart, welcome sign and cocktail sign are delivered as print-ready files sized to your specifications.
I would love to hear from you.
The feeling, the vision, what you want someone to experience holding your invitation for the first time.
