You're in good hands.
Everything I create is guided by one idea: making something that could only ever have belonged to your story.
A Papier June commission begins with a conversation, not about what you want your invitations to look like, but about how you see the world, what moves you, what you'd never want near your wedding.
From there, a concept begins to take shape. I explore materials, develop the design, and refine each detail until the suite feels complete.
You bring the feeling. I bring the experience to translate it onto paper.
The Paper
Every sheet starts in my studio. I form each sheet slowly from cotton fibre, water and natural pigments, then leave it to dry. The colour develops naturally through the materials and pigments I work with. The texture is what handmade paper does on its own, and that's the part you can't replicate.
The Process.
From booking to delivery, bespoke invitations typically take 3–4 months, while save-the-dates and day-of stationery typically take 2–3 months.
1— The conversation
Every commission starts with a conversation. I'm genuinely curious about who you are, the details, the feelings, the things you can't quite put into words yet. Getting to know a new couple is one of the parts of this work I find most stimulating. The more I understand, the better the work.
2— The design
Once we begin, the project never really leaves me. I think about it on walks, in quiet moments, when I'm doing something else entirely. That's just how it works for me, and by the time I sit down to design, I already know where I'm going. We refine until it feels right.
3— The making
Once the design is approved, the work shifts into a different kind of focus. Every element, paper, embellishments, print, has to be coordinated and checked. There are many moving parts, each requiring care and attention. The final stage is about bringing everything together, paper, print and finishing details, until the suite feels whole.
4— The delivery
Each suite is packed and shipped directly to you. You'll receive a tracking number by email once it's on its way. The moment your guests open their mailboxes is the first impression they will have about your wedding.
‘‘Papier June brings you along for every part of the process from initial mood boards to designs to watching the handmade paper making process. It gives you such an appreciation for all the hard work and attention to detail brought to each project.’’

Investment
The design fee
Foundation of every project. It covers the design direction, concept development, digital mockups and every detail from first conversation to final approval. This fee is fixed per project. Production is based on the number of households.
The production costs
Confirmed upon design approval. Final investment depends on materials, printing methods and finishing details selected for your suite.
Bespoke invitation suites start at $8,500 CAD
and include a fully custom invitation suite (invitation, Rsvp, and details cards), designed for up to 75 households and delivered to your door.
Additional Pieces
Every piece is designed to feel like a natural extension of your invitation suite, creating a cohesive experience from first impression to final detail.
Save-the-dates
Designed and delivered first, before your invitation commission begins. They are ideally ordered 15 months in advance and typically sent to guests 8–12 months before the wedding.
Printed day-of papers
Menus, programs, welcome notes and vows are printed on the same paper as your suite for cohesiveness. These pieces are typically designed after your invitation suite is complete and produced approximately 2–3 months before your wedding.
Digital files
Seating chart, welcome sign and cocktail sign are delivered as print-ready files sized to your specifications.
I would love to hear from you.
