Papier June Studio Policies

Design - The capsule collection was created to reflect Papier June’s signature style. To preserve the integrity of each design, major modifications are not accepted; however, all wording is fully customizable.

Digital Proof & Approval - A design proof will be sent by email within 5 business days. Once final approval is received, production will begin within 48 hours. Any changes requested after approval may require new design work, dies, or reprints, which will be billed accordingly.

Payment - Full payment is required to secure a spot with us. Once payment is received, the project is officially booked, and the personalization begins. Accepted payment methods include e-transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon options.

Production & Timeline - Design begins once finalized wording, addresses, and colour selections are provided. Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks after proof approval, and shipping typically requires 3 business days. While every effort is made to meet estimated timelines, these may be affected by client feedback timing, design revisions, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, including Force Majeure events.

Rush order - Rush orders are not accepted. We value intentional, mindful production to ensure every piece in the collection meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Revisions - We strive to achieve client satisfaction within two included rounds of revisions, covering colour adjustments and typos. Additional rounds are available for a fee of $200 CAD per round, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Client feedback must be provided within 3 days of receiving the design proof. Additional revisions may extend the overall production timeline.

Shipping - A final shipping invoice will be provided once the order is completed and weighed, prior to dispatch.

Colours - Digital mockups represent the approved design as accurately as possible; however, printed colours may vary due to paper stock, inks, and printing processes. We use the Pantone Formula Guide Solid Uncoated to ensure accuracy, though exact colour replication cannot be guaranteed. Variations may occur between printing methods (letterpress vs. CMYK/flat printing) and between printed pieces and on-screen displays.

Variations - All handmade paper is crafted in-house, and variations in size, weight, colour, and texture are natural. These nuances are part of the paper’s unique character and are not considered defects. Letterpress printing may result in slight variations in ink coverage, impression depth, or texture. Minor inconsistencies are normal and not considered flaws.

Printing error - The client is responsible for reviewing all wording and addresses to ensure accuracy. Papier June is not liable for errors approved by the client. If an error appears on the client-approved digital proof, the cost of materials, reprints, and assembly will be the client’s responsibility. Errors caused by Papier June will be corrected at no cost.

Deliverables & File Ownership - All projects are delivered as printed materials. Design files, including source files or digital layouts (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), remain the property of Papier June and are not provided.

Intellectual Property - All designs and illustrations created by Papier June are protected by copyright and design rights. Client may not reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the designs. Unauthorized reproduction or imitation of designs is prohibited. We reserves the right to use designs for promotion on its website, social media, blogs, advertising, or printed material.

Cancellation, Refunds & Errors - If the client decides to cancel the project for any reason, Papier June is not responsible for refunds for services already rendered, including design work, materials purchased, or production completed. Due to the custom nature of all products, no refunds or exchanges are accepted.
